NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CREATING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE NOTICE OF RECORDS ACCESS FOR THE TOWN OF SCOTT
MARCH 10, 2026 5:00 P.M.

The Town Board of the Town of Scott, Brown County, Wisconsin, pursuant to Section 19.34, Wisconsin Statutes gives notice that on March 10, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. in the Town Hall at 2621 Jody Drive, New Franken, WI 54229 will hold a public hearing to consider creating an ordinance adopting the Notice of Records Access for the Town of Scott. 

The proposed ordinance contains a description of the town’s organization and the established times and places at which, the legal custodian from whom, and the methods whereby the public may obtain information from and access to records in the town’s custody, make requests for town records, or obtain copies of town records, and the costs thereof.

The proposed ordinance can be found here. It is also available for review at the Town Hall, 2621 Jody Drive, New Franken, WI 54229.  The Town Hall Office hours are 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M., Monday thru Thursday and 9:00 A.M. to Noon on Friday.
