No person may maintain, manage, or operate a short‐term rental more than 10 nights each year without obtaining a short‐term rental license. Licenses expire March 31 annually.

Required Documents:

• Short Term Rental Packet
• $500 license fee
• Site plan illustrating an appropriate amount of parking, and exterior lighting (dark sky compliant)

Application Process:

• Upon receipt of application, the Clerk shall review the application as well as research the qualifications of the applicant in accordance with the requirements.
• The applicant must pass an inspection.
• Applications are reviewed and granted by the Plan Commission, who meet the Third Thursday of the month.

Other Considerations:

A short‐term rental license is required.
